The ERASMUS + office operates within the Center for International Relations (CpRI) of the University of Pitești and is composed of:

  • One Erasmus Mobility Coordinator,
  • Three Erasmus+ International Officers,
  • Ten representatives of the Academic Departments within UPIT.

The ERASMUS + Office aims at the following specific objectives:

  • Prepare and submit of applications for institutional mobility projects (KA 103, KA107, CEEPUS, etc.) in order to obtain funding;
  • Organize the selection process of Erasmus + mobility beneficiaries, under the conditions regulated by the European Commission;
  • Organize information / counseling / feedback sessions for UPIT students and staff who wish to benefit or have benefited from academic and professional mobility;
  • Facilitate contacts with host institutions, in a timely manner, for good information on teaching / training / placement facilities and programs;
  • Organize and monitorthe development of academic and professional mobility, both of those from the University of Pitești, who carry out a mobility abroad, and of those from abroad who carry out a mobility at the University of Pitești, under the quality conditions stipulated by the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education);
  • Prepare of specific documentation in order to recognize the learning outcomes obtained as a result of student mobility and the equivalence of periods of study / placement abroad, in accordance with the provisions of the MECTS Order no. 3223/2012, with the principles of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education approved by the European Commission and in accordance with the university’s own regulations;
  • Support the reintegration of beneficiary students upon return from mobility;
  • Management of financing contracts concluded with the National Agency for Community Programs in the Field of Vocational Education and Training for the development of student and staff mobility;
  • Update specific databases (such as Mobility Tool, Study in Romania, CpRI website, etc.);
  • Report to the Ministry of National Education and Scientific Research, the National Agency for Community Programs in the Field of Vocational Education and Training and to other competent institutions, on Erasmus + mobility projects.
